Italy head coach Conor O’Shea has announced his side that will face off with Scotland in their Six Nationsopener at Murrayfield on Saturday.

Led by captain and number eight Sergio Parisse, the Azzurri will be keen to avoid another Wooden Spoon as they begin their 2019 campaign.

Up front, the experienced Leonardo Ghiraldini starts in the hooker jersey and will pack down with props Andrea Lovotti and Simone Ferrari.

O’Shea names Tito Tebaldi and Tommaso Allan as his half-backs while there’s a Six Nations return for Michele Campagnaro on the wing. He’s joined by Angelo Esposito and Jayden Hayward in the back three. Tommaso Castello and Luca Morisi complete the side in the centres.
